Quick and scalable resources available via API

CloudFerro’s Compute services provide a secure, scalable, and flexible computing cloud environment. Due to the simple and well-documented API Openstack, it is possible to launch a computing instance quickly and in a way adjusted to the modern methods of code-managing the infrastructure.

Dedicated Hardware resources

If you require high-performance and secure computing power, then the dedicated resources are a more reliable and cheaper alternative to the traditional cloud environments. We specialize in providing dedicated machines in the form of Virtual Servers occupying an entire physical server (DS), as well as Bare Metal (BM). These configurations offer a combination of the cloud’s best features: flexibility, access to storage, API with the advantage of having a personal server, security, reliable resources, and adaptability to needs.

Configurations customized to various scenarios of usage

The computing environment should be adapted to the specific application. We are constantly expanding our offer adding more unique configurations so that our Clients can choose resources tailored to their needs. In the Public offer, we have configurations optimized for computing power, memory size, local disk efficiency, and GPU quantity. It is the Client who decides the specific configuration for the task.

Access to large and entirely configurable storage

In our offer, we possess one of the biggest commercially available storage infrastructures in Europe. At any given moment we are ready to accommodate additional PB of data. Our storage is based on CEPH- a distributed and scalable storage software. With extensive experience with large-scale data, whereas part of the open-source platform, we currently host a multi-petabyte repository of satellite products.

Premium Support at no extra charge

Our uniquely experienced specialist will answer all of our client’s questions. We provide user support for our cloud environment, satellite products, applications for satellite data processing and we help initiate a cloud environment within our infrastructure. We do not charge extra for the support in our environments, our goal is for every client to be able to quickly benefit from using the computing cloud.

Vitrual Machines (VM)

Virtual Machines (VMs) are fully functional instances. They operate as if they were real physical devices with all the elements of a physical server. Users obtain their VM with full root access. This allows them to make any changes and to install selected software. In case of the cloud users, VMs provide the possibility to define a large number of parameters when configuring the instance; including machine type, RAM size, number of cores, type of operating system, type of virtual network, etc.

Price list

All prices are in EUR, excluding VAT. Prices for Monthly, Half-yearly, and Yearly periods are in Fixed Term (long-term) monthly cycle. Prices for the pay-per-use model are calculated in the hourly cycle.

Dedicated Server Virtual Machine - VM.DS

Dedicated Server Virtual Machines are a special kind of Virtual Machines, which use an entire physical server in order to create a Virtual Server intended for one Client. Thanks to this, the owner of a Dedicated Server VM is guaranteed the power of the whole processor, RAM, and network bandwidth. Additionally, this solution is equipped with very efficient NVMe/SSD disks installed in the pass-through mode.

This option combines the advantages of Virtual Machines(VM) cloud environment access with the advantages of physical servers (BM) - separation of resources, direct access to graphics cards, very fast local disks, increased security, and easy licensing. Dedicated Server Virtual Machines are therefore an ideal solution for clients expecting efficiency, as well as the independence of BM and wide functionality of OpenStack.

Physical servers (BM)

Bare Metal machines are physical servers without virtualization. On these servers, there are no add ons related to the Virtualisator or the cloud launching processes. In the Cloudferro cloud, the Bare Metal machines are separated from other compute nodes. They can be connected to other resources made available by Cloudferro through a public network - via a VPN or a public access point such as S3. Users can perform actions, such as start/stop/restart, etc. Some standard actions available for virtual machines, such as ‘snapshot’, are not available in a Bare Metal machine.

Cloudferro offers standard configuration or custom-made servers. Servers are usually made available the next day (NBD). In the case of a larger order, the lead time may be extended.
